Roof Light
Roof Light is a reimagining of an earlier sketch and painting of a ruined building in Anglesey, perched high against a brooding, storm-filled sky. The scene captures the drama of the Welsh landscape, with shifting light illuminating the textures of stone and grass as the weather moves across the horizon.
The artist’s favoured palette of greys, greens, and deep indigo lends the work a timeless, contemplative atmosphere. Presented in an antiqued silver frame with mount and glass, the piece measures 70cm x 60cm overall, adding elegance to its striking composition.
